SKIO Music remix contests are back and to kick off our first of 2016, we’re excited to have teamed up with the Portuguese electronic powerhouse Diego Miranda and his label Less Is More Records! Currently ranked at number 58 in the DJ Mag top 100, his single “Turn The Lights Out” feat. Mikkel Solnado recently reached the top of national (Portugal) and international radio stations, and now he’s giving our SKIO family access to remix this radio friendly anthem and give it some more edge. The catchy vocals of Mikkel Solnado combined with the melodic guitar plucks and fat electro synths in the commercial sounding original gives this track some great remix potential, and Diego can’t wait to hear what you call come up with! The veteran dance music producer and resident DJ of Ibiza’s famous Ushuaia open air beach club wants young creators to put their own take on “Turn The Lights Out”. So get creative with your remix because one lucky winner will be selected for official release on Less Is More Records have their track supported by Diego Miranda on his social media pages with a reach of over 700,000 fans!

Rules
The Contest Submission period begins at 12:00 PM Pacific Time (PT) on February 18 2016 and ends at 11:59PM PT on March 25, 2016.
The winners will be selected by Diego Miranda and Less Is More Records during the judging period.
The remix submissions are ordered according to the number of plays and likes the remix receives.
Entrants may not make any changes to their remix after it is submitted.
Only one entry per contestant.
Open to residents of jurisdictions where lawful.
Employees of Diego Miranda, Less Is More Records, SKIO Music and related parties are ineligible.
Odds of winning depend on number of entries received, artistic and technical merit of entry judged by subjective criteria.
