Diffrent Music Remix Competition

Diffrent Music has always provided a platform for new and rising talent, and in our 10th anniversary year this remains as true as ever.

Later in the year, we’ll be releasing a special compilation album to mark our decade in the game. It’ll feature Diffrent stalwarts and newcomers, producing original tracks and remixing classics.

As part of our commitment to finding new artists, we’re launching a remix competition. One entry will be chosen as the winner by the Diffrent crew and signed to our anniversary compilation.

After careful deliberation, the track we’re asking you to remix is the one that started it all, Chills’ ‘Everyones Mad’ from DIFF001. Label boss Dexta still uses this track as a benchmark for all other Diffrent releases, so if you can nail a remix of it, we’d love to have you as part of the family.

All genres, styles and tempos are welcome — remember to think Diffrent!

In the link below (check Original Remix Contest Page) you’ll find all the stems for the track, plus competition artwork.

To submit your remix, go to the Demo Drop page on diffrentmusic.com. Follow the instructions on the system carefully to ensure we can contact you easily if need be and choose Upload MP3 when asked.

Please also upload your remix as a non-downloadable link to SoundCloud and add #DiffrentRemixComp to the tags as we’ll be building a playlist.

There’s no limit to how many times you can enter. The competition closes at 12pm (BST) on Wednesday 1st July, with the winner announced in August. Good luck and have fun!
