AVICII “WITHOUT YOU” REMIX CONTEST

THE CONTEST:

DJcity has teamed with Geffen Records to find an official remix of Avicii’s new single “Without You” featuring Sandro Cavazza. The infectious progressive house track recently debuted at No. 18 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

Geffen Records was founded in 1980 by industry heavyweight David Geffen. Earlier this year, Universal relaunched the label with a roster that includes Avicii, DJ Snake, Lil Jon, AlunaGeorge, and Gryffin.

PRIZES:

The winning submission will be released by Geffen Records as an official remix.
The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 USD.
The winner will be featured on DJcity’s blog and social media

JUDGING:

DJcity will select the top ten remixes and Avicii will select the winner.
Entries will be judged on creativity and quality.
The contest begins August 28, 2017. All entries must be submitted no later than September 8, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
The finalists will be announced on September 13 and the winner will be announced on September 20.

RULES:

The contest is open to international participants.
Only one entry per participant will be accepted; participants who submit multiple entries will be disqualified.
Clean or dirty versions will be accepted.
Your entry shall not contain any unauthorized samples or any other material that infringes upon the rights of any third parties or violates any applicable law.

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Download the stems for Avicii “Without You”
2. Upload your original remix to YouTube. The video should be titled “Avicii – Without You (YourNameHere Remix)” and include the official contest cover art, which is contained in the stems download.
3. Send your YouTube link to DJcity

Participant hereby grants representatives of Avicii an irrevocable, fully-paid, perpetual worldwide license to reproduce, edit, adapt, copyright, publish, transfer, distribute, perform, display, and use any or all of the entries, without compensation to you or any third party. If for any reason listed prize is unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded as a substitute. Cash prizes will be delivered via mailed check.
