Having started his career as part of Genius Cru, whose hits ‘Boom Selection’ and ‘Course Bruv’ helped the group sell over 500,000 records back in 2001, Fizzy is back doing what he does best and making catchy tunes to light up dancefloors around the country.

His latest track ‘Brand New One‘, which also features Lady Leshurr, Mighty Mo, Gracious K and Major Ace is set to be released on 21st April and is taken from his forthcoming 5 track EP No Ropes No Rules.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve joined forces with Fizzy to give you the chance to make a name for yourself by entering our remix competition and recreating this immensely addictive new single.

We’re looking for producers to put their take on the track and make it their own in the hope of unearthing some of the brightest creative talent around. The winner of the competition, which will be judged by a select Gigslutz panel led by our Urban Music Editor Matt Tarr alongside Fizzy himself, will have their track serviced across regional & national radio (BBC Radio 1/1xtra, Capital & Kiss) with the potential to be played out to millions of listeners and it will also be included as part of Fizzy’s next release.

So if you think you’ve got what it takes to create the remix of the Summer, download the stems for the track here and get on it. Once you’ve completed your track please upload it to the Gigslutz SoundCloud page here by the closing date of 13th April 2016 and make sure you include #GigslutzRemixComp in the title.
