NEW YORKER presents NYDJAY – Europe’s biggest DJ contest ever – and they are looking for Europe’s next DJ Superstar!

If you think you have what it takes, enter NYDJAY by NEW YORKER now and be in with a chance to appear at one of 11 NYDJAY club events across Europe, and a gigantic live final in July 2017 in the world’s capitol of Electronic Dance Music, Ibiza!

And if that’s not enough, the ultimate winner of NYDJAY by NEW YORKER will be awarded with an exclusive contract with an international booking agency, a pan-European tour and a live-gig at the legendary Untold Festival in 2017!

HOW TO ENTER

Young fashion retailer NEW YORKER has teamed up with Mixcloud to discover the turntable geniuses of tomorrow. Catch this once in a lifetime opportunity to launch the career of your dreams…

• Create a stunning mix and upload it on Mixcloud – maximum entry length is 20 minutes
• Use the cover art provided here. If you fail to use this cover art, your entry may be missed.
• Title your mix NYDJAY by NEW YORKER – [YOUR DJ NAME] – [YOUR COUNTRY]
• Please make sure to add your track list
• Enter your mix by selecting it from the drop down menu on the Enter Competition page

JUDGING

• Based on a combination of the number of plays, likes, comments and shares received from fans, and the expertise of the NYDJAY jury, four participants from each region will be chosen to prove themselves during one of the eleven NYDJAY club events.
• The crowd and jury will decide upon their favourite DJ on the night and out of the 11 winners from these events, 8 will be chosen by the jury to be flown to the gigantic finale in Ibiza.
• Here, in the world’s capitol of Electronic Dance Music, these eight DJ talents will compete against each other until one is crowned the ultimate winner!
• The jury members will be: DJ Danny Avila from Spain, a booking expert from Sushi3000, an editor from the international experts at DJ MAG, the General Manager of UNTOLD Festival, Bogdan Buta and one of the NEW YORKER team.

PRIZES

• Transport for participants in the regional events will be covered by NEW YORKER
• The eight winners selected from these participants will be invited to Ibiza for the gigantic finale – all travel costs will be covered by NEW YORKER
• The ultimate winner of the NYDJAY DJ contest will gain an exclusive contract with the international booking matadors Sushi3000, a pan-European Tour and a live-gig at Untold festival!
