Last year Launchpad for iOS held it’s first remix competition. We received an overwhelming number of entries, with talent that blew us away. This year we’re re-opening Remix This for a second heat. All you need is the Launchpad App for either iPhone or iPad, a good ear and some creative flair. As an iPad user, you can even bring in your own content to make your remix really stand out.

We’ve put together an exclusive remix pack that’s free to download – this time it’s produced and curated by LA rapper and producer Thavius Beck. Once again, there are no rules on genre – flip it however you like. We’ll be judging on performance, originality and style.

Whilst Thavius Beck has exclusively produced this remix pack, we would love to hear your take on it. If you have Launchpad for iPad, you can bring in your own content to put your spin on it using Audio Import.

Once you’ve made your remix, you will need to upload it to your Soundcloud account and copy the URL. Complete the form here, and be sure to paste in your Soundcloud track URL.

entry guidelines
• Competition ends Friday, 11 March, 2016 at 4:59pm GMT (UK time)
• Remix the pack to make a track lasting 2-5 minutes long
• Anything outside this time limit will not be considered for entry
• iPad users may import their own audio but must maintain at least 1 melodic and 1 drum pad during the submission
• Must be age 16+
• Maximum entry 1 submission per user
• Must have SoundCloud Account
