NYC-based The Flowdown and their label Ropeadope Records presents a modern integration of jazz, rock, funk, and hip-hop sensibilities. The group blends lush instrumental arrangements, fresh grooves, and thoughtful melodies & rhymes offering a unique journey to its accompanying listeners. Since 2009, The Flowdown has brought a live improvisational spirit with an eclectic, intercultural sense of musicianship that adds new color and dimension to every performance. The group’s 2011 debut release, ‘Metamorphosis,’ has been well-received from both jazz luminaries and mainstream listeners alike. For their brand new record, WorldSpeak, the band members focused heavily on a ‘Let’s try it’ mantra to inspire open-mindedness, teamwork, patience, and deeper creativity while forming the new material.

Now The Flowdown want you to remix the first single off their WorldSpeak LP “Movin On“. Take these soulful stems and make us dance!

Creative Brief
The Flowdown is looking for remixes of their song “Movin On“.
You must use at least one of the provided audio stems to be eligible.
Do not include any material that you do not have the legal right to exploit.
More votes will not make your submission more likely to win the Grand Prize.
The band will be picking the winner based on musicality.
