Remix Leon Switch – Replica via Blend.io

Producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Switch is known for his diverse career which spans 16 years. From his early work performing guitar in the heavy metal scene to writing under the Kyrptic Minds moniker touring worldwide supporting releases on Tectonic, Osiris, and recently Chestplate, Leon has carved a unique spot in music with his signature sounds.

Leon has created a moody, melodic (and exclusive) track for the Blend community called “Replica”. He let us in on the inspiration behind the production: sharing “Whilst writing the tune, I had in mind thoughts about the future, about future civilisations and whether they’d be even human. I love the coldness of the intro with the pads and the emptiness caused by the minimal pads and simple melody. The drop consists of a few midrange basses creating the groove, with a hit with more reverb to create additional depth/atmosphere. Throughout the tune, I use filters to bring parts in and out as well as for introducing new sections of the tune smoothly.”

Leon is excited to team up with the Blend community, and he’s calling for remixes to be included on the Blend release due out later this year. Make sure to pull the stems to “Replica” and publish your update by September 26th to be considered. Leon will review the remixes and announce the winners shortly afterwards on Blend.
