Ryuken – Kiss of Death Remix Contest

In partnership with Ryuken, we have just launched the remix contest for their recent Incursion debut, ‘Kiss of Death’. Having released on labels such as DJ Zinc’s Bingo Bass, Juicy Music, 40oz Cult and more, we are excited to be able to offer the opportunity to remix two cuts from their eclectic discography.

Deadline: 31st August 2020 @ 6pm BST.

Prize: The winning remix for each track will be featured on our end of year compilation due for release in December 2020.

Rules:

• Remixes MUST be submitted as a private Soundcloud, Dropbox or Google Drive link through our Contact page. Any submissions sent to our email address directly or to either ours or Ryuken’s social media pages will not be considered.

• Submissions MUST clearly state the remixing artist name and the name of the track remixed.

• All submissions must remain private and out of the public domain. Any public remixes will not be considered. Once the contest ends and we have decided on the winning remixes, any that unfortunately weren’t selected will have both the consent of Incursion and Ryuken to be posted into the public domain as a ‘bootleg’.

• You may remix each track and submit one remix for each track. Multiple submissions of the same remix will not be considered. Remixes MUST NOT contain elements from both tracks. You should remix one track only using one set of stems for that track.

• You MUST submit your remix before the deadline, any remixes submitted after that will not be considered.

• The remixes will be decided by Ryuken and the winning remixes will be announced on the 6th September 2020.

Tips:

• Be creative and unique, really push the sound that you have crafted and steer the remix into something incredible.

• Listen to Incursion’s past discography to gauge the sound that the label promotes. The genres we usually release consist of (but not solely limited to) Bass House, UK Bassline, Drum & Bass, UKG, Future Garage, Breaks and 140 Dubstep.

• When submitting your remix, ensure you are submitting the highest quality track. Additionally, ensure that it is well mixed down. If your track is chosen as the winning remix, we will want a -6db Premaster WAV file at 16bit 44.1khz.
